I don’t care what the weatherman says ….

I drove past the turning for this place en route to Paris and thence Calais, le manche and Oxfordshire on Tuesday of this week.  It was sunny.  By the time we reached Paris is was wet and in Calais there was the added frisson of a wind that could fell Cyclops in stone boots. I left a comment yesterday from my phone, but don’t know where that disappeared to – maybe it went underwater, to the bottom of the river, just like the rowers in Rio. Anyway, you have just reminded me I need to visit Bourges in the rain again and the bright sunshine – I think it is a bit of a mixed up city and I need to understand more. Thank you.

    • I might bump into you since I feel the same. Rowing is a water sport and as an ex-International myself I can report sinking is just one hazard!

  3. The scenery and beauty of this placemaygroq on you. I like how second views and visits reveal more layers and interesting “facets” not noticed the first time around. Hope all is well with you, dear sunshine Fiona. <3
