A Cup Of Kwofee And Sum Bisquits With A Fellow Blogger…

My pitifully neglected blog needs a kick in the pants so I thought I would start by reblogging this from my dear friend Cameron which demonstrates the actual power of blogging. He and I really did live very near one another for many years, he went to the same school as my two elder daughters but we never met. It took the mother of my eldest daughter’s husband to be (now husband) … stay with me …. to introduce us when Cam was still waiting for a date for surgery. I now count him as a friend. A real and dear friend. And I am so thrilled to be able to stay in touch with him via our respective blogs. I feel his pain and his joy and I cook his ridiculously healthful and delicous meals.  I walk his walk and I talk his talk. He is part of my life. And without our teeny weeny corners of WordPress none of it would be possible. Actually my life would be consideraby poorer without my blog and I must thank so many of you for being my virtual friends and family.

Now, over to Cameron on Planet Magnet:

PS:  There were no biscuits.  Where are the biscuits, Cameron.  You promised me biscuits … you speak of them in your title.  I feel cheated, to be frank ….

The worlds biggest fridge magnet

Good Morning world and thanks for tuning in to another day here on Planet Magnet.

I hope today finds you happy and well adjusted, able to put things in perspective and understand that some things are sent to try us, some things are designed to change us but all things happen for the best of that you can be sure, especially on a planet where the most random of things happen….

Random?

Yes Random.

Last week I was shopping in my local supermarket, being very healthy, okay, okay, I was stood in front of the cake display, when a figure came and stood right next to me and gave me such a fright that I jumped back whilst exclaiming a profanity of epic proportions.

When I had regained my composure, I realised who it was and how random it was that this person should be stood in front of me…

      • It is so funny, Osyth. I tried to enlarge my phone’s page of your blog and I think I “un-followed” you so I pressed again and am following you. All with rather small finger and enlarged blog post! 😀
I came by not to disrupt and create havoc but to share a small little sip of coffee or tea, say hello and wishing you warm days and pretty flowers. ❤

  6. What a lucky chance! Isn’t it great to meet someone who you have only known up to then by their words and photographs.
Blogging opens so many doors but it is nice to meet the owners of the houses behind those doors.
I met Susie Kelly – author of so many books about her travels in France and a wonderful autobiography – when we were both off our beaten tracks in Spain….an unforgettable afternoon and evening which I doubt will ever be repeated given our geographical locations, but pure magic.

    • I would love to meet Susie and as it happens I would love to meet you too! It was certainly fun meeting Cameron and I’m sure the café wondered what on earth was going on as we roared with laughter and drank them out of coffee!

      • Yes, a meeting would be fun….would our paths cross in some godforsaken airport,do you think, both en route to opposite sides of the ocean? Probably be arrested by security staff for enjoying ourselves in a public place…

And if ever you have the chance to meet Susie, do take it!

      • If you ask for biscuits down here, you will get a savory scone covered in a bechamel sauce (of sorts) with little pieces of sausage in it. Teddy loves this typical poor folks meal but not I… 🙂
